All orders and purchases made through this website are subject to the IEL Terms and Conditions outlined below. These Terms and Conditions may change from time to time without prior notice and at our discretion.
Contract between us and the customer
When you place an order to purchase items using our website this is an offer by you to us to purchase those items. We will confirm receipt of your order by contacting you on your phone or mobile number and sending you an email summarizing the details of your order (“Order Confirmation email”). The contract between us is formed at the point we send the Order Confirmation email in respect of those items mentioned in the email. If your order contained a number of items and the Order Confirmation email mentions on some of them, those items which have yet to be despatched to you do not form part of that contract.

All product specifications, images and other information published on our website have either been made accessible by suppliers, manufacturer’s, publications, publicists, or been gathered from public-domain sources. The intention of IEL is that all information on the website should be as accurate and up to date as possible. However, IEL cannot guarantee the reliability or the accuracy of the information contained within its pages. All the actions taken by the user of the website are the responsibility of the individual.
All delivery times are estimates only and some products may take longer due to circumstances beyond our control.
Our Customer Care and Service Centre will contact you with expected delivery days and time upon receipt of your order.
Please note some products may take longer due to shortages from the manufacturers. Our call centre will advise you of this upon receipt of order.
You will need to register with us to purchase items using our website. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account username and password and for preventing unauthorised access to your profile. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Please take all necessary steps to ensure that the username and password is kept confidential and secure. Please inform us immediately by phone if you have any reason to believe that your username and/or password has become known to anyone else, or are being, or are likely to be, used in an unauthorised manner. Please ensure the details you provide us with on registration are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to those details (e.g. change of email or postal address). You can access and update your registration details using the ‘My Account’ area of the website.
We reserve the right to refuse access to the website, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion.
At IEL we carry huge stock holdings of products at our Distribution Centre to ensure speedy delivery of your ordered items. However, under certain circumstances if a product is unavailable, the customer will be informed about the same.
Products are invoiced in Kenya Shillings (KES). Please refer to Delivery Information on this site for details. Although we try to ensure that all prices on the website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled. Prices displayed on the Website apply to online purchases only. They are not indicative of the price of identical items purchased at any other store or by any other means. We reserve the right to update prices displayed on the website from time to time and once updated, they cannot be claimed against an order that has already been confirmed or delivered.
Changes in Price and Availability
IEL may change the price of any item on the site from time to time as it sees fit. Prices are subject to change without notice. IEL will not issue refunds in the event that a price decrease occurs after a customer has made a purchase. IEL does not guarantee that any item will be in-stock or that any item will continue to be carried. Selection of inventory will change as IEL sees fit and is subject to change without notice.
What do I need to know when receiving my order?
Carefully read the information below regarding the proper handling of your new equipment. Following these guidelines will make your experience with our Customer Care easier and more pleasant and will help expedite any transactions.
•Upon receipt of your new merchandise, please inspect it carefully as to its contents and condition.
•All claims for damaged or missing items MUST be reported to IEL within twelve (12) business hours of receipt of merchandise.
•In the event your package arrives damaged, it is the responsibility of the customer to contact IEL and inform about it. IEL will then investigate the matter and authorise either a full refund or replace the unit if the claim or complaint deems fit.
Please note that if you order a number of items for delivery to the same address, they may be despatched separately and we cannot guarantee delivery of all the items on the same shipment. We make every effort to despatch items on time. If we are unable to deliver the items within our normal timeframe, we will inform you about the same well in advance. Cancellation fee (if applicable) will be deducted prior to refunding the amount. If the items are not delivered within the time period we specify in the Order Confirmation Email, please contact our Customer Care Department quoting the order number contained in your Order Confirmation Email. Delivery occurs when the items are delivered to the delivery address you specified when placing your order. After this point, responsibility for loss, breakage and damage passes to you. Ownership of items purchased does not pass to you until payment is received by us in full.
We do offer Free delivery inside Nairobi, however it applies to orders greater than value Kes 2,000/-. (A nominal charge of Kes 250/- will apply for delivery in Nairobi for orders below Kes 2,000/-.)
The hampers and gift boxes photographed may contain varied contents as they are subject to availability.
After clicking “Submit Order”
you agree and accept the following terms & conditions:
•You will provide valid and true details to an IEL Customer Care agent, who will contact you on your mobile phone to confirm the order and delivery details.
•Your Order status can be tracked online through the “See Orders” link after logging into your account.
•You are requested to get in touch with the respective brand service centres, directly in case of any service or warranty related issues and our Customer Care Centres will provide you the contact details to do the same. Nevertheless, we can coordinate any service & warranty related issues on your behalf and get the issue resolved, if you prefer to do so.
•Please make necessary arrangements for payments (if it is Cash on Delivery) and authorise an individual to accept the goods in your absence.
•IEL will NOT visit your location more than ONE (1) times per order; all further attempts will be charged extra.
•If the order is cancelled within 1 hr of placing the order, no cancellation charges will apply (Order has to be cancelled either by email – email@example.com
•All refunds will be made within 14 days through the same mode of payment received. Cancellation and other charges may apply and will be deducted.
•Prior to breaking the factory seal, please ensure that the model number on the packing / carton matches YOUR ORDER.
•Goods broken open from the factory packing or switched on cannot be accepted for EXCHANGE or REPLACEMENT.
•In case the goods are DAMAGED or INCOMPLETE or INCORRECT – please inform IEL (by email or phone) within 12 hrs of delivery.
IEL will not be responsible for any consequential or incidental damage resulting from the sale or use of any merchandise purchased from us. IEL’ liability is limited to the monetary value of the merchandise.
What is not covered?
This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance; failure to follow operating instructions; accident; excess moisture; insects; unauthorized alteration or modification of original condition; damages caused by inadequate packing or shipping procedures; damages caused by use with third-party products/applications.
